Emma's Birthday Party

We had Emma's birthday party tonight with all of her cousins who live close by. Here are some pics....she wanted a Webkinz theme so everyone brought one of their "pets" with them to celebrate with us. We were on stuffed animal overload by the end of the night but it was great fun. My good friend designed this cake and spent all day baking it, isn't it great? I wish that I could be so talented!

Emma Turns 6!

You can refer to my blog to see more details about Emma's birthday.....she really did have a good day once she started feeling better. She had been waiting for a week to open her present from her Grandparents so it was the first thing she did after waking up. She loved her gifts and can't wait to start trying out some recipes (and Halle, too!) Here are some pics from the day. We actually got the same baking set for Morgan so hopefully she will enjoy it as much as our girls.

Have a great time on your trip! I am sure that all of your many responsibilities will be waiting for you when you return home so try to relax and enjoy yourselves! I expect some great pictures to be posted of the two of you on the golf course, at the spa, and sunbathing on the beach! Tell Leah congratulations for us and give the rest of the family a big hug from Cincinnati.

Mom & Dad escape detention and snow caves

Wednesday is looming and the planned Idaho escape for us will take place. Palm Springs sound pretty good as the 20 inches of snow surrounds us. This is the first long vacation we have taken since moving to Idaho 17 years ago. The girls will take over the house, nutty guys, etc. We will scout out the terrain for future trips for all. Umm, Hi

Well, after the email from the powers that be, I figured if I didn't join blogspot I would be considered an outcast. After looking at the site I still like facebook better. Blogspot seems like it is hard to use and I cannot even read the blogs because of the color scheme and the color of the font. I am not one who usually complains, They practically had to drag me into facebook and I finally started a profile on there and starting over from scratch does not seem as worthwhile when facebook works so much better.
